cnlab TourLive System Overview

The TourLive System lets you experience sport events up close and personal, via two basic services "Live Information" and "Race Simulation". The first model focuses on bicycle stage races and time trials.

Spectators and race organizers get real time information about the

  • racers' location
  • racers' speed

TourLive Information also provides

  • live pictures (snapshots) of the bikers
  • the course profile with the position of the field and lead cyclists.

TourLive Race Simulation

    

  Race against the best with TourLive's RaceSimulation.

RaceSimulation uses the Internet to send information on the professional racers' location and speed to your home trainer (e.g. bike home trainers, rowing machines, running bands). For cycling, the load on your home trainer takes into account

  • the racers' uphill / downhill situation,
  • the racers' speed,
  • your position in the field (peleton) and drafting.

You also control the load on your home trainer by selecting the percentage of racers' performance that you want to match. As soon as you start pedaling, RaceSimulation displays your speed compared to the racers' speed.
